con calidez tras las ejecuciones de las seis Miniatures
de Komitás. Aquellas perlas musicales pintaron con frescura

Quartet Performs in Celebration of Hamazkayin's 75 Years
Sponsored by the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural
Society, the Komitas Quartet performed a concert on Sunday,
May 11 at Occidental College. The program included Schubert's
String Quartet No. 13 in A minor D804 "Rosamunde,"
Mirzoyan's String Quartet, selections by Komitas, Aslamazyan
as well as Armenian Folk Miniatures. Established in 1924
by Sarkis Aslamazyan and Aved Gabrielyan and two students
of the Moscow Conservatory, the Komitas Quartet is the
oldest and most famous of all Armenian classical groups.
They made a fantastic appearance playing as four musicians
with one heart. Brilliant!!!

Die vier Muziker aus Armenien – ein erster Geiger
mit teils gedecktem, teils scharfem,, dann wieder inspirierend
engagiertem Vortag, ein zurückhaltender zweiter Geiger
mit feinem Klangsinn, ein mit vollem, ein dringlichem
Spiel hervortretender Bratschist und ein zart-kantabel,
hochmusikalisch und genau nuancierender Violoncellist
sorgten für eine überzeugende Wiedergabe. Das
Vitale stand neben dem verinnerlichten Musizieren, das
Wehmütige fern dem Sentimentalen. Auf honem technischen
Stand zeigte das Komitas Quartett ein ausdrucksstarkes
Spiel, das die Hörer mit viel Beifall belonten.

die gültige Darstellung.
